Managing Notifications

Interlynk provides notifications of platform events delivered via communications channels such as Slack and Microsoft Teams.

Interlynk also supports notifications that can be delivered to Email Aliases for the entire teams or via subscription to specific product for individual notifications.

Interlynk delivers following types of notifications:

• SBOM Upload

• Vulnerabilty Scan

• Policy Scan

• Licnese Scan

The notification delivery can further be customized by severity of the alert:

• Information

• Warning

• Alert

• All

Slack Notifications

To set up the Slack integration, you need to generate a Slack webhook. This can be done with either via the Incoming WebHooks app or by creating your own Slack app.

Once the Slack Webhook URL is created, configure Slack Integration to complete the setup.

Only webhooks created with Slack Apps are supported; webhooks created with Slack Workflows are not supported.

Microsoft Teams Notifications

To set up the Teams integration, you need to generate a Teams webhook. This can be done with either via the Incoming WebHooks app.

Once the Teams Webhook URL is created, configure Teams Integration to complete the setup.

Email Notifications

Emails can also be configured to receive notifications. This can be used to receive all notifications to team aliases or individuals can subscribe to specific products they are interested in to receive customized notifications.

Organization Email Notifications

Organizational level email setting is intended to receive emails for all products but can customized by severity.

Configure organization level Email under Organization Email Integration to complete the setup.

Personalized Email Notifications

Personal level email setting is intended to receive individual emails for subscribed products but can customized by type of notification.

Configure personal level Email under Personal Email Integration to complete the setup.
